Hi, My name is Ben Gates. I have been a carpenter since 1990. I have spent over 20 years specialising in oak framing. Since 2010 I have been operating from the Correze department in  France. I design, fabricate and erect everything from a porch or a gazebo  up to a frame for a whole house and anything in between. My work is scribed together using traditional oak framing techniques that date back to the middle ages. During my time in France I have accumulated a host of happy clients so if you want to visit one of my jobs to inspect my work it can be arranged .
